Malkuth-This sphere represents the Earth. It is referred to as the gate of tears. Here we enter upon our chosen journey. We are now finite, and have form, we are a physical being. The Earth is made of the elements, water, air, fire and earth. We also have spirit. We are now subject to certain laws and properties. All life is movement. The form is the vehicle that moves the spirit within. We are spirit with a body. Here we make progress, all is constantly evolving. We create karma, based on our choices.
Yesod-This sphere represents the Moon. It is the place of great illusion and emotion. It is the veil that prevents us from seeing things as they really are. Although this is where instinct becomes intuition. The Moon is the mystery, hard to navigate. There is deception and confusion. This also represents early childhood experiences. As a child or as an adult, we are challenged here. The Moon has a great and profound effect upon us. We are dealing with the past and the formation of the subconscious mind.
Hod-This sphere represents Mercury. It is the place where the mind resides. This is how we accumulate information. This also represents family, siblings and neighbors. It is also our education and chosen vocation. We are mental, all is the mind. We live in a world of language and messages, both received and transmitted. We are an antenna. Via the central nervous system. This is how and why we think. It is the outcome of all our thoughts. We are what we think.
Netzach-This sphere represents Venus. It is a place of great intimacy, and sharing. The pleasures in life are the love we give to each other. The senses are developed. We learn how to respond to each other. Relationships are the ground work of desire. Desire created the universe. The principles of gender apply here. We are both male female. We are both the mother and the father, or the sun and the moon. All life exists because of an opposite and equal energy. No man is an island. We all are here to engage life as best we can. It is through love we learn to trust.
Tipereth-This sphere represents the Sun. It is the center of our solar system. Our heart is our great center. The heart has the highest magnetic energy. More than any other place in the human body. The heart beat is electrical. This is the essence of who we are. This is the seat of the soul. The heart wears no mask. It is in the heart we find our truth. It is the place we should always consult first. We will eventually live through this center. When we mature spiritually as a group, and as individuals. This could be the true brain, where all thinking is based on sincere desire and simple truth.
Geburah-This sphere represents Mars. This is the place of action and deeds. This is where karma is formed and worked out. This is our destiny based on our actions. This is the most sacred sphere. Our choices and decisions in life are acted upon. What we do, writes the story of our journey, past, present and future. All three are connected and represent the dynamic in life. Standing in the moment, we are at once the past and the future. The past defines and explains the future. This is the sphere of initiation. This is a place of great challenge and perseverance. This is where we over come the abuses in life, and choose to forgive, so we can move. When we forgive we move. We are not stuck in anger or frustration. We become a miracle. Or the mirror of God.
Chesed-This sphere represents Jupiter. This is the place of inspiration, and spirituality. This is the place of inner faith. This is the light within the chamber. The core of what we believe. It is the magic, in the cavern. The place of messages, where angels commingle with the human spirit. Bringing us hope. This where the spark of desire originates. This is when the brain and the heart become one. This is how human becomes angel. This is also when we are at a place of evolution when we are responsible for others. We become a leader, or healer, or prophet. This is beyond the personal realm of experience, it is the group that matters. That group is the human family, all inclusive, none exclusive.
These were the sacred seven, and represent the seven sacred planets. The ancient kaballists were astrologers. These emanations represent many other things as well. Each is a color, and each is a vibration, each has a numerical value, and each have a sound. These emanations were used to breathe and meditate upon. This enabled the rabbi to commune with God.
The Holy Trinity
These three are the font of the Christian religion, the Father-the Son- and the Holy Ghost. Every religion has a holy trinity. For the Hebrews it is Keter, Chokmah, and Binah.
Keter-The concealed of the concealed, this is the top of the godhead. It is sacrilegious to give a name to God. You cannot take what is infinite and name it, because then it has an image which can only be finite. This sphere represents the limitless light. On the Tree of Life it is the mirror of Malkuth. Malkuth is number 10 and Keter is number 1, which in reality are the same number, 1 + 0 = 1. As above so below. Again we go back to the purpose of the Tree of Life, which is to seek and find our true face. To remove all illusion, and to manage the ego. To control our desires. It is not recommended to destroy the ego or desire nature, but to control and manage them.
Chokmah-This emanation represents male wisdom. It is a place we can gather an energy of that particular gender. This is the place of the supernal father. He allows us to develop the reasoning skills, and moral principles of the great philosophers and prophets who have left their signature on the human race. He sits on the Tree of Good.
Binah-This emanation represents female understanding. It is a place we can gather an energy of that particular gender. It allows us to develop understanding and compassion. It is a place where mercy resides. Much like Chesed, or Jupiter. Binah is also referred to as the great sea Mara, and is where Mary originated for the Christians. She is the supernal mother, and watches over her children. She sits on the Tree of Evil, the opposite energy of Chokmah her male equal, both exist for all life to exist.
